LSE’S STUDENT RADIO.

Pulse Radio

Pulse Radio

ABOUT.

Pulse Radio began broadcast on 1st February 1999. Working in tandem with The Beaver and Loose TV, Pulse showcased the best of student journalism. We played good tunes, broke news and interviewed the likes of former Canadian President, Kim Campbell, and News Broadcaster, Jon Snow. In 2005 we were even awarded the 'Student Website of the Year' at the Guardian Student Media Awards… That was until a former President blew the budget on a nice set of CDJs and the enthusiasm for radio broadcast on campus died out. But we’re back and extremely grateful for our predecessor’s investment as we are now training a new generation of LSE DJs. This year we bring you broadcast, magazines, podcasts and best of all, nights that will make you forget that you are at LSE. Tune in and get involved x

Pulse Radio returns to Corsica Studios for what we will be yet another sell out night! This time we are bringing a very special guest who has played in clubs the calibre of Fabric and Warehouse Project, co-produced music with NOTION, and released on Conducta's Kiwi Records. Long story short, prepare to shake your hips to some absolute top of the notch grooves. Joining our special guest are some returning and fresh faces from Pulse Radio. Expect anything from afro-house to jungle from one of London's finest up and coming rosters. In case you didn't know, our parties are the sweatiest and grooviest you can find on a Tuesday night. With going out in London becoming more and more expensive, our tickets priced at £3 are a breath of fresh air. You can expect to get the most bootylicious bang your buck will ever buy. At Pulse we pride ourselves on creating a judgement-free atmosphere where people can be themselves and dance freely. There will be zero-tolerance on any forms of discrimination and harassment. We can't wait to for all you sexy people to join the Pulse community and we hope you contribute to keeping this an inclusive space for all.
